This short microlearning game delivers information in a fun and memorable way. This allows learners of all levels to retain important information in a short amount of time.

Audience: Government employees in Social Services

Responsibilities: Storyboarding, Visual Design, Audio

Tools Used: Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, Adobe Photoshop, Eleven Labs, Storyline

The Problem

Communities across America have N11 codes for individuals to access important information and services. Most people are unaware of these codes available to them. Many government employees are also unaware of many of these codes and are not able to fully inform their community.

The Solution

Microlearning games are a fun and effective way for people to learn and test their knowledge. The activities in this module allowed government employees to review the N11 codes in bite-sized chunks and in a fun and memorable way.

The Process

After gathering all the N11 information from the Subject Matter Expert (SME), we organized the codes that would be covered. We then designed the gamified activities the learners will complete. To optimize time and design quality,
Artificial Intelligence was used to generate the visuals (backgrounds, character, and props). The result is a visually stunning and fun learning activity.

Design Development

Before building out the course, visual inspiration and activities were established. From there, AI was used to create the look and feel of the backgrounds, character, and props.

Storyboarding

Once the activities and graphic design was created using AI, the course was laid out in a storyboard.

Full Development

Building the final game in Storyline pieced together neatly with plenty of interactive activities and background music.
