This interactive reference guide allows sales associates to quickly find the information they need to help their customers with a fun, retro audio and visual design.

The Problem
Direct Mobile has updates to their products on a regular basis. Sales associates are typically busy serving customers in a fast-paced environment and have little time to look up product information in a long manual. This led to customers receiving incorrect information and a negative shopping experience
The Solution
An online reference guide allows sales associates to easily find the information they need by the click of a button. Easily accessible information enables real-time customer support and a more positive experience.
The Process
After gathering all the information from the Subject Matter Expert (SME), we organized the main topics that would be covered in the reference guide and arranged the order. We then designed the visual look and feel of the guide. Finally, it was developed in Articulate Storyline with finalized visuals, audio, and trigger functionality.
Organization
Before establishing the visual design of the guide, we organized the topics that sales associates need most often while assisting customers.

Visual Mockups
Oftentimes, sales associates were calling customer service for information. Therefore, we designed the guide as a "phone home" lifeline with a retro rotary phone.


Full Development
With the home screen and layers design established, the project was developed in Articulate Storyline complete with triggers and simple audio.


Results & Takeaways
Sales associates were grateful to have easy-to-find information at their fingertips via an online guide they can pull up while assisting a customer. Due to this, customers were properly advised leading to a better experience and increased sales.
